GTA 6 Standard vs Ultimate: choose your edition

Choose from the extras you will use

Standard is the starting option for the game. Ultimate adds a bundle of story-related items and locations listed in Rockstar’s comparison. Read that list before assigning a value to the premium: a familiar edition name from GTA V is not a specification for GTA VI.

A practical comparison is to write down the extras you actually want, then compare the final checkout totals in the same account region. Do not combine a price from one country with a bonus list from another seller. We do not present a live price because we do not have an authorized regional price feed.

You can decide on the upgrade later

Rockstar Support describes a separate Ultimate upgrade through the platform stores. For a code-in-box purchase, redeem the Standard game code before looking for that upgrade. Check the current store listing and your account’s ownership before purchasing an add-on.

A box does not mean a game disc

For the announced code-in-box format, downloading is part of the installation. If you are buying a gift, confirm the recipient’s platform and account region before choosing the code. Keep the receipt and avoid sharing an unredeemed code in screenshots.

Before payment, check delivery timing, the exact edition name and the seller’s return conditions for digital codes. After purchase, verify that the game appears in your own console library. A successful retailer payment and a successfully redeemed game are separate steps.

Our purchase rule

Buy from the official platform store or a retailer whose code and return terms you can verify. GTASpots does not sell game keys, provide account access or take payment for a copy of GTA VI. Hardware suggestions in Gear are optional and do not change the edition you own.
