What this website stores in your browser
Cookies are small values sent by a website and returned with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser feature that keeps a setting on your device. This policy covers both.

What we do not use
GTASpots does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Optional first-party analytics runs only after you allow it. We do not load fonts from Google Fonts, embed social-media widgets automatically or send your form information to the website used as a design reference.
Cloudflare still processes connection data to deliver and protect the site and may provide aggregate service measurements. This is infrastructure processing, separate from adding optional analytics storage to your browser. Details about personal information appear in the privacy policy.
Review your settings
The site works with essential storage only. There is no preselected marketing option and no need to accept advertising to browse the map. The settings panel lets you enable or withdraw optional visitor analytics.
You can delete the local setting through your browser's site-data controls. The notice will return on a later visit. Blocking all security cookies can cause security checks to repeat or prevent a request from completing. It does not subscribe you to updates or authorize publication of a discovery.
Optional visitor analytics
Analytics starts only if you choose Allow analytics or enable it in Cookie settings. A random identifier in local storage distinguishes this browser for up to 30 days and a session restarts after 30 minutes without activity. It does not identify you on other websites. Our server keeps keyed identifiers, page paths, device type and source labels for up to 90 days. We exclude form contents, raw IP addresses and full referring URLs. The owner views aggregate reports in the protected CheatCode admin. Google Analytics and advertising trackers are not enabled here.
You can decline or withdraw analytics at any time. Withdrawing stops new collection and removes the analytics identifier from this browser. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. Your consent to email updates is collected separately by the update form and is not inferred from a cookie notice.

Videos and your intel collection
The optional news collection stores selected material IDs and a save date under gtaspots_intel_v1 in this browser for up to 180 days. It contains no account or email and is not sent to the GTASpots server. Removing an item updates this local collection.
Story covers are delivered from GTASpots. A video player is loaded from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain only when you press Play. YouTube then receives connection and playback information and may use its own storage or cookies. You can use the separate YouTube link instead. Read Google's privacy policy for its processing.
